Mission
The Ventura Breast Cancer Walk exists to raise funds for individuals affected by breast cancer—helping to cover the everyday costs of care, treatment, and recovery. We bring together current patients, survivors, caregivers, and supporters to walk in solidarity, raise awareness, and offer hope. Money raised goes directly toward supporting individuals navigating a breast cancer diagnosis, ensuring they receive the support they need when they need it most.

To build a compassionate and empowered community where no one facing breast cancer walks alone—and every step taken helps ease the financial burden for those in need.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Registration will close at 9AM on Friday, October 16th
Event Day Details:
Check-In Opens at 7:00 AM
Start your morning by picking up your event T-shirt, included with registration. Take some time to explore our amazing vendors and purchase additional shirts to support local nonprofits.
Opening Festivities – 8:30 AM
We’ll welcome participants, thank our generous sponsors, and recognize the recipients of this year’s donations. We will also hold a moment of silence in remembrance of those we’ve lost.
Walk Begins – 9:00 AM
The walk is a scenic 3-mile out-and-back along the Ventura Boardwalk. Water will be available at the turnaround point and finish, thanks to our wonderful volunteers. Participants are welcome to walk a shorter distance if needed—there are plenty of places to rest and enjoy the view.

Online registration is available in advance to help us plan for this community-focused event.
If you are registering a group of 5 or more people, please reach out via the "contact us" section below to coordinate your group registration with Betsy directly. Registering as a group in advance will make check-in on walk morning quicker and easier for everyone!
Opportunity Drawing
We’re excited to offer opportunity drawing baskets filled with gift cards and items generously donated by local businesses. The winners will be announced at the end of the walk, so be sure to check them out!

Media Notice: There will be some photography including drone photography of the event and participants.
Safety Notice: For the safety of all participants, bikes, roller skates, skateboards, and scooters are not permitted during the walk. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.
Refund Policy & Disclaimer:
All registration fees and donations for the Ventura Breast Cancer Walk are non-refundable.
This is a community-based event raising funds to directly support Ventura County residents who are currently undergoing breast cancer treatment. We greatly appreciate your understanding and support of this meaningful cause.
Please note: Pink Ribbon Coaching LLC, founded by Betsy Watson and organizer of the Ventura Breast Cancer Walk, is not a nonprofit organization. As such, donations are not tax-deductible.

Charnell is a devoted mother and grandmother, loving wife, and cherished daughter—now courageously navigating her own breast cancer journey. Despite the challenges, she radiates light and love, inspiring everyone she encounters with her resilience and warmth. Deeply passionate about supporting fellow women facing breast cancer, Charnell continues to be a beacon of strength, hope, and compassion.
Betsy Watson
Organizer
Betsy is a daughter, aunt, sister and dedicated social worker with a long-standing career in supporting others. A four-year breast cancer survivor, she founded Pink Ribbon Coaching to provide compassionate support to breast cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and their families. Her mission is rooted in hope, healing, and community.
Shelley Townley

Shelley is a devoted mother, wife, sister and daughter with over 30 years of experience as a social worker. She is deeply committed to giving back and brings compassion and dedication to everything she does in service to her community.
